BioProcure Company Update: 5 Things to Know About Us in 2021

2020 was a year filled with uncertainty and change — but amid all the chaos, there were positive things happening here at BioProcure. Our business has continued to grow and evolve throughout the past year, in spite of (and because of) the COVID-19 pandemic.

Back in March 2020, we seamlessly pivoted to remote work to accommodate social distancing guidelines and to keep our staff and their families safe. The entire organization adapted quickly, working hard to maintain exceptional customer service and a superior quality of work despite all that was happening in the world.

We are very proud of the fact that we have maintained–and grown!– our team of dedicated purchasing, accounting, and customer service professionals over the past year. Like so many businesses, we fought through the adversity that was thrown at us to the best of our ability. Now that we’ve arrived in 2021, we are hopeful that we have succeeded in getting through the worst of it.

So, yes, 2020 was tough — but it made us all stronger. And 2021 will be better. In fact, you’ll want to make sure to keep up to date with everything that’s happening at BioProcure this year. We have big plans to grow and expand in some very exciting ways! For now, here are five things you should know about what we do, and who we are:

  1. BioProcure provides breakthrough Procure-to-Pay services.

If you don’t already know what we do, then this fact is for you! BioProcure is the leading procurement services and strategic sourcing firm. We assist emerging biotechnology and pharmaceutical research organizations with the entire procure-to-pay process, and there is no one else out there who does it like we do!

BioProcure exists to take on the procurement and front-end AP duties for top-notch clients. Incredible customer service is our passion, and helping our clients grow and succeed is what we do best.

2. We’ve cultivated a company culture that values teamwork, openness, and trust.

BioProcure’s unique culture is evident at every level. Across the organization, we’ve created a welcoming atmosphere built on personal relationships, shared values, and mutual respect. In a recent survey, our team consistently used three words when asked to articulate what makes Bioprocure’s culture so special: teamwork, openness, and trust.

Teamwork is an integral part of the BioProcure employee experience. As part of our commitment to excellence, we strive every day to help each other grow and succeed. Valuing trust and openness makes for a comfortable work environment that is conducive to personal growth. Our dedication to relationship-building across the organization means that these values play a part in everything we do.

3. We don’t just tell our employees how much they’re appreciated–we show them.

We’re always thinking up new and creative ways to give back to our employees. We want to make sure that we remind them often just how much we appreciate and value their skill and hard work! We do this by encouraging everyone to take part in games like Top Banana and Kudos, where we call each other out for going above and beyond, and get rewarded with cash and gift cards.

We look forward to getting back to the good days of in-person catered lunches and fun quarterly events like the end of summer pizza party and winter holiday party, but until then the BioProcure book club continues to meet virtually (or outside around the fire pit!) and we’ve continued to meet for small happy hours to welcome new employees and virtual game nights from the comfort of our living rooms.

4. We love to get feedback from our employees and the clients we serve.

At BioProcure, our upper management team has an open-door policy. Voicing questions, concerns, and feedback is encouraged.

Vincent Bologna, our CEO, continually encourages open dialogue across all levels of the organization, especially as the team grows. Throughout the uncertainty and confusion of 2020, it was this sense of openness, commitment to improvement and genuine compassion for employees that helped BioProcure to persevere.

The management team at BioProcure has created an innovative environment where the work process is always improving. We are always seeking opportunities to learn, adapt, and evolve, and we’re excited to see where this approach takes us in 2021.

5. We take training and employee development very seriously at BioProcure.

Plain and simple: we care about our employees, so it’s important to us that we create an environment where they have opportunities to learn, grow, and advance in their careers. We want to see everyone in our organization evolve and thrive. That’s why we put an emphasis on training and development within our organization — both personal and professional. Our employees are encouraged to advance their knowledge through certifications in purchasing and accounts payable. Our new tuition reimbursement program even gives support to those who are pursuing college degrees. We believe that it is important to promote from within, so the more educated and well-rounded our employees, the better it is for everyone!
