Startup Lab

The Client:

A new startup lab with seed funding

The problem:

3 scientists, a receptionist and limited VC support for accounting. Don’t need full time Ops but want to hit the ground running with their research…. need to set up a lab stat!   Who will fill out supplier applications, create Purchase Orders, track missing orders?  Who has the time to deal with vendors and negotiate capital equipment purchases?  How do I know I’m getting the best pricing as a new lab?

The solution:

BioProcure stepped in to fill those gaps. The lead scientist was proud to show off his new lab and was excited to be running experiments months faster than expected.

The Client:

A mid-sized company, with multiple locations and record VC funding

The problem:

Using spreadsheets for approvals and purchase orders.  Shared sheets would often get deleted or corrupted.  Documents could not be produced for audits. Hazardous materials were received incorrectly.  Orders were on hold due to late payments.  No negotiations, paying list prices.

The solution:

BioProcure automated the approvals and POs. Special approvals for hazardous materials ensured compliance.  3-way matching service was provided to Accounts Payable. Payments are now made on time; savings are negotiated.  Accurate documentation is readily available for audits.

Mid-Sized Company

Missing Shipments

The Client:

A mid-sized company, with multiple locations and one lab manager

The problem:

Missing packages, little discounting due to “low volume” purchases.  Paying excessive shipping costs.

The solution:

BioProcure contacts suppliers and shipping companies to track and locate missing shipments.  Purchasing through BioProcure provides special supplier discounts and free or discounted shipping due to supplier relationships and high-volume purchasing power.
